🌟 Premium Stickers. Premium subscribers can send dozens of stickers with full-screen effects – which can be seen by all users.

More premium stickers from Telegram artists are added every month.

🌟 Premium Reactions. Use any emoji as a reaction with Telegram Premium – including thousands of custom emoji options.

After a Premium user has reacted with an exclusive emoji, any user can tap to increase the counter for that emoji.

Premium users can react with up to 3 emoji on a single message, creating unlimited combinations.

🌟 Default Chat Folder. With Telegram Premium, you can change your default folder from All Chats to a custom one, like Work or Unread.

To change it, press and hold a folder, tap Reorder, then drag a new folder to the first space.

🌟 Auto-Archive and Mute. Premium users can set new chats from non-contacts to automatically go to their Archived Chats with notifications disabled.

Enable this setting via Settings > Privacy and Security > Archive and Mute. This option will also appear for any free users who have many chats with non-contacts.

🌟 Animated Profile Pictures. The profile videos of Premium users animate throughout the app – including in chats and the chat list.

🌟 Profile Badges. Premium subscribers have a special badge that appears next to their name in the chat list, chat headers, member lists in groups, and on their profile.

🌟 No Ads in Public Channels. Sponsored Messages are shown in some large public channels. These privacy-conscious advertisements help support Telegram’s costs, but are hidden for Premium subscribers.

🌟 Premium Icons. Premium users have 3 more app icons to choose from – a premium star, turbo plane, and night sky.

All Android and iOS users have several default icon options, like Vintage and Aqua in Settings > Chat Settings (Android) or Settings > Appearance (iOS).

For all users on Android 13, the Default icon becomes thematic, automatically adjusting to match your system theme colors.

🌟 Doubled Limits. With Telegram Premium, you get increased limits for almost everything in the app.

Follow 1000 channels, create 20 folders with 200 chats each, add a fourth account to any app, pin 10 chats in the main list, save 10 favorite stickers – and more.

🌟 Custom Emoji. Premium users can include 😎 unique animated emoji in messages and captions to add even more expression to chats.

Open the 🙂 emoji tab of the 📑 sticker panel to browse your packs or add new ones. You can tap a message to view and add the packs it's using (press and hold on iOS).

Emoji are an open platform – anyone can upload custom packs with their artwork. All users can 🤓 see any custom emoji and use them in their Saved Messages.

Interactive Custom Emoji. Many custom emoji are also interactive when sent in 1-on-1 chats – anyone can ❤️ tap to play synchronized full-screen effects.

All custom emoji are included in emoji suggestions – you’ll also see suggestions from your custom packs after typing static emoji.

🌟 Restrict Voice Messages. Premium subscribers can control who is able to send them voice and video messages.

Like other privacy settings, this supports exceptions – choose specific people or groups with different permissions.

The 🎤 voice and 📷 video buttons fade out for anyone who you don’t allow, letting them know you prefer text.

🌟 Gifting Telegram Premium. Anyone with Premium can send a prepaid subscription for 3, 6 or 12 months to another user – at a discount.

Open a user’s profile, tap ➕ or ➕ and choose Gift Premium. The subscription will instantly arrive as a special animated message in your chat with that user.

🌟 Emoji Statuses. Show what you’re up to with Telegram Premium – replacing your 🌟 badge with an unlimited number of emoji options.

Statuses appear in chats and interfaces throughout the app, letting others know that you’re at work 👨‍💻 in class 🧑‍🎓 and more 🏖️

Tap your badge in the chat list or Settings to add a status, and hold an emoji to set the status for a specific duration.
