I know some people told you Horowitz was a bad guy, covering stuff up, etc. I was patiently explaining for going on 3 years now that without Mueller Special Counsel definitively driving a stake through the heart of the Trump/Russia hoax, and without the FISA Abuse Report Horowitz released in Dec. 2019, the FISA warrant abuse does not begin to be exposed. That exposure of how FBI/DOJ personnel presented faked evidence to the FISC to get a warrant on Carter Page directly led to Durham being rolled out publicly to investigate exactly how this amazing trick was accomplished by corrupt FBI/DOJ personnel. Understand: I wrote that column just a week after Horowitz released that damning report. While a lot of other people were wringing their hands and saying OMG IT'S A NOTHINGBURGER!, read what I was saying.

Yes, my take on the Horowitz report and what it was going to directly lead to was markedly different from what about 90% of the rest of the Conservative media was saying.

But here's the thing Horowitz's latest bombshell report reveals: far from being an amazing magic trick where the FBI got the FISC to approve a spy warrant on a US citizen based on fraud, this turns out have been a regular occurrence. 179 out of 7,000 may not sound like a lot, but when you have strict procedures set up for spy warrants on Americans, the fact that many slipped by the Court without hardly any - or in some cases - no supporting evidence is...uhm...what's the phrase I'm searching for...ah yes, I have it right here...A MASSIVE NATIONAL SCANDAL.

I've been saying for years when it comes to discussing the SpyGate scandal, far too many people do not grasp the true scope of it. One fraud spy warrant granted on Carter Page led to an entire presidential campaign being spied on. And then a presidential transition team being spied on. And then a presidential administration once it had assumed office being spied on. It's never been just "Carter Page". It's Carter Page and A COUPLE HUNDRED PEOPLE that ended up under surveillance due to that one single fraudulent warrant. Now, go from that single warrant on Carter Page and ADD IN 178 MORE spy warrants on other US citizens that never should have been granted. Starting to get the picture?

It's nice that Durham is being very thorough and he didn't want Sussmann walking away scott free from lying to federal officials about working for the Hillary Clinton campaign while he was handing off that fake Trump/Alfa Bank hoax to them. But the real meat of Spygate has always been the fake Steele Dossier and how it's fake allegations ended up in a spy warrant on a US citizen.

And while looking into how that happened, DOJ IG Michael E. Horowitz uncovered massive corruption inside the DOJ and the FBI. And then Durham was tapped to investigate and see what criminal charges could be brought against any of the government officials who applied for and received surveillance warrants by engaging in deliberate acts of fraud and malfeasance. :)

But after Durham had initiated his criminal probe of all of this spy warrant fraud at the DOJ/FBI, Horowitz had to sit on a lot of the evidence he had accumulated until Durham finished. He could not publicly release it until he got the go ahead from the Special Counsel.
