JUST IN: 50 COVID-19 cases are now linked to the JEM/Westgate cluster.

MOH suggests that a cleaner who worked at a stay-home notice facility may be the source of infection.

Free COVID-19 testing extended to people who visited JEM and Westgate malls between May 10 and 22, after 50 cases are linked to the cluster there.

47 commuters were seriously injured after 2 trains collided on the the KL LRT, operated by RapidKL.

The train collided in an underground tunnel, with 47 passengers were seriously injured while 166 people suffered light injuries.

1 train, heading from the Kampung Baru station to Gombak, was reportedly being test-driven following a fault to ensure it was safe to drive.

The train to Gombak that was being driven automatically was carrying 213 passengers while the train from the Kampung Baru Station to Gombak that was faulty, with the exception of its driver, was empty.

A Task force has been set up to investigate.

Priority will go to the graduating group (e.g O, N and A-level students) as well as students with special needs.

Bookings for this age group start tomorrow.

A 16 year old boy was erroneously given the Moderna COVID-19 vaccine.

Currently only the Pfizer-BioNTech vaccine is authorised for 16 year olds. The Moderna vaccine is only for use for those 18 and above.

Investigations found that the individual’s date of birth had been wrongly entered when booking the vaccination appointment. Staff at the vaccination center also failed to verify his age.

JUST IN: A 48-year-old man has been arrested for allegedly attacking 4 people with a knife in a Bukit Merah flat.

The man was believed to be under the influence of drugs and was unknown to the victims.

Two men and two women, aged between 18 and 59 were conveyed to the hospital.
