➕Venom blockchain is designed as an open platform for developers to create and deploy their workchains to the Venom ecosystem.

➕The masterchain serves as the backbone of the Venom blockchain, providing a high level of security for all workchains connected to it.

➕Workchains are specialized layer-1 blockchains that, on the one hand, can work independently and have their virtual machine, transaction or block structures, and native token. On the other hand, they have the property of interoperability that allows transferring assets between workchains. It is able to meet a wide range of blockchain use cases, such as CBDC andDeFi, NFT, and GameFi.

➕At launch, The Venom blockchain consists of two networks: the Masterchain and the Basechain. The Basechain is the first layer-1 workchain for end-users, supporting dApps and serving as the platform for executing smart contracts.

➕Both networks employ the Threaded Virtual Machine (TVM) for smart contract execution.

The Everscale network is available in WalletConnect ✉️

The ITGOLD and Everspace teams have completed the work on Everscale and WalletConnect integration.

It came from a community-accepted proposal that described the problem of the Everscale ecosystem's lack of a single method to connect a user's wallet.

This created inconvenience for users and services: some had to keep several different wallets or extensions installed, while others had to provide and maintain integration with all Everscale wallets. As a result, this slowed down the development of the entire ecosystem as a whole.

Venom Foundation launches testnet ⛓

👥 Venom announced the launch of a testnet for blockchain users and developers.

To participate in the testnet, users must:
➕ Install the Venom wallet
➕ Get VENOM test tokens

The testnet will feature a variety of dApps, including those built into the Venom ecosystem (such as Venom Scan) and those developed by external partners.

🔧 Developers will have access to a dedicated repository with blockchain documentation, and users will be offered a number of social and onchain challenges to learn about dApps and blockchain capabilities.

As a part of the new Everscale Deep Tech rubric, a fresh article on the advantages of multi-blockchain networks has been published. In the first article three such platforms were compared: Everscale, Cosmos and Avalanche.

The second article provides a brief overview of the three categories of blockchains with examples:

1️⃣— Bitcoin, Litecoin, ZCash. The main purpose of these platforms was to create some sort of decentralized version of money.
