Account Abstraction: Everything you wanted to know 🗂

We continue our Deep Tech series, in which we have previously discussed the concept of Account Abstraction (AA) and compared its implementation in Ethereum and Everscale networks.

AA is a new paradigm allowing programming blockchain accounts which provides a Smart Account.

Smart Accounts can perform any programmed actions automatically without the need for human intervention.
 
EIP is the abbreviation for "Ethereum Improvement Proposal". Each proposal includes the methods according to which updates are made on the Ethereum blockchain.
 
The path towards EIP-4337

EIP-86 was the first attempt to provide AA functionality for Ethereum. In this model, all accounts became contracts with the ability to pay gas fees.
 
EIP-2938 provided for a limited version of AA. In this model, data represents all parameters that the AA contract must execute.
 
EIP-3074 proposal sought to allow users to hand over control of their accounts to a contract by signing a message with their account.

EIP-4337 is a complex structure which succeeds in simplifying the creation and management of Smart Accounts. Its implementation doesn't require any Ethereum consensus layer changes. Instead, this is realized by the division of the load across on-chain and off-chain infrastructure.

A useful update to the Mooli Crypto Portfolio tracker 👛

Fee optimization on FlatQube 💱

Multisignature 👥

Multisigature is a special type of crypto wallet, using which a transaction will take place only if two or more signatures are entered.

Multisignature is like a multi-key deposit box, but on the blockchain. You decide how many private keys you need to sign the transaction. A common variant is the multisig “any two of the three keys".

Mechanics

One of the key holders enters the details of the transaction and his key to sign it. However, the transaction has not been completed yet. It will be in a waiting state until all the necessary keys sign the transaction.

Multisignature is convenient to use when funds are managed by several people: family, business, community, and also, for your personal wallet, as a protection against cyber attacks.

The Broxus team has integrated the multisigature feature into EVER Wallet — the user can choose the appropriate type of wallet.

The EverX team has created a DeBot that can be used to implement multiple signatures in Ever Surf.

Vote on FlatQube DAO 🗳

The vote on the amount of rewards in the farming pools (Epoch 20) is now active on FlatQube DAO. The vote will last until July 20.

To participate in this epoch, you need veQUBE virtual tokens, which are issued in exchange for locked QUBE tokens. The maximum locking period is 4 years.

The veQUBE formula
veQUBE = QUBE * lock time / max lock time

Voting mechanics
All pools that get from 1–35% of the votes will get rewards. The rewards will be split up and distributed according to the percentage of votes a pool receives. All pools that receive less than 1% of the votes won’t get rewards and their votes will be allocated to other pools. For pools that receive more than 35%, once the voting period ends, the surplus will be to the treasury.

How to get veQUBE and vote
• Go to the Balance management tab
• Select the QUBE locking period: from 14 to 1460 days. The longer the locking period, the more veQUBE you get.
• Return to the DAO tab and vote for one or more farming pools. You can vote only once at one 14-day Epoch.

WalletConnect update in Octus Bridge 🔄

The Broxus team has reported a successful update of WalletConnect in Octus Bridge to v2.

➡️ This should resolve issues with transfers from the EVER Wallet mobile app for those users who have experienced this before.
