FlatQube Farming: a temporary breakdown and the beginning of a new Epoch 📷

🔧 On August 04, FlatQube farming faced some technical problems, so it was unavailable for a few days. For the same reason we couldn't reflect the farming yield in our weekly Saturday post.

🛡 Everything is working normally now, and the Epoch #22 on FlatQube DAO started today and will last 14 days, until 21.08.2023. All allocated bounty will be distributed similarly to previous allocations, but only starting today.

As a reminder, all pools that get from 1–35% of the votes will get rewards. The rewards will be split up and distributed according to the percentage of votes a pool receives.

All pools that receive <1% of the votes won’t get rewards and their votes will be allocated to other pools. For pools that receive >35%, once the voting period ends, the surplus will be to the treasury.

To get veQUBE and vote:

🛑Select the QUBE locking period
➕Longer period = more veQUBEs
🛑Vote for 1 or more farming pools
➕Only one vote per one 14-day Epoch

46M accounts have already been created in the Venom Testnet 🐍

More than 3 months have passed since the launch of the Venom Testnet. During this time, several projects such as Snipa, Nümi Club, Ylide and Gravix have been successfully deployed on the network, as well as the first online hackathon.

⚙️ The testnet is served by 35 active validators and the total supply of VENOM test tokens currently stands at 7.29 billion.

Since the launch of the network, it has been created/sent:

➕Messages: 444M
➕Transactions: 401M

Nümi Metaverse to launch in Korea on Everscale 🟣

Nümi is a unique anime-style metaverse project where users will be able to trade their in-game NFT assets, develop the metaverse and get rewards. It is being prepared for launch on the Everscale blockchain for the South Korea.

In early 2023, Nümi raised $20 million in investments from the Venom Ventures Fund organized by the Venom Foundation.

In June, Nümi was successfully launched in the Venom testnet.

Koreans will be able to access the platform by using Ever Wallet, which will also open the door for them to use the rest of the network's capabilities.

“Nümi is one of the most exciting metaverse projects coming to market and we couldn’t be happier that it is launching on Everscale in Korea. How do you start building on Venom? 🐍

⌨ Venom provides a virtual machine that executes smart contract code on its own blockchain.

It is a Turing complete virtual machine, like EVM, but it is considerably different. Smart contracts in Venom provide a new, more flexible, and controlled flow over the execution of application logic.

🔧 To start creating smart contracts on Solidity, Venom blockchain developers recommend using the prepared toolchain and development guides. Open access to the repository on GitHub is also provided.

💬 Venom is open to communication and help, so if novice developers have any questions, they can ask for help in the specially created Discord server.

Asynchrony in TVM blockchains 📊

TVM architecture allows you to design a blockchain so that the update of the blockchain state occurs within the asynchronous paradigm. Asynchrony is one of the key factors in achieving high scalability of the blockchain.

Unlike blockchains based on EVM the TVM allows for asynchronous updates of smart contract states. Each time a smart contract code is executed, a transaction is generated and validated by a blockchain node responsible for validating transactions from smart contracts within its thread.

Smart contracts are combined into a shard, for the validation of transactions from which one group of node validators is responsible. With an increasing load, a shard (a set of smart contracts) is divided into several shards, each one receives its own group of validators. At the same time, smart contracts from different shards can still exchange messages.

Thus, one user action can be processed asynchronously by two or more nodes.

The Wallet team introduced TON Space — the first non-custodial wallet integrated directly into the Telegram messenger!

The UAE will develop a system of carbon credits on the Venom blockchain 💨

💳 Carbon credits, (offsets) are permits that allow the owner to emit a certain amount of carbon dioxide (CO2) or other greenhouse gases. One credit permits the emission of one ton of carbon dioxide.

The UAE Ministry of Climate Change and Environment (MCCE) is developing a system of carbon credits in preliminary partnership with Industrial Innovation Group and Venom Foundation.

The move is part of the UAE's strategy to reduce CO2 emissions by 40% by 2030. The country's ultimate goal is to achieve carbon neutrality by 2050.

▶️The system will allow government bodies such as the MCCE to sell or allocate credits to businesses

▶️The credits can be used by recipients to emit a certain amount of gas or sold/exchanged with other organizations seeking to offset their own emissions

▶️Through the use of blockchain, carbon credits will be able to be accurately tracked and securely traded

☀️ In addition to nationwide efforts to reduce emissions, local initiatives have been implemented in each of the UAE's emirates — for example, in Abu Dhabi.

The TON Foundation has launched the TON Smart Challenge for developers with the tasks on knowledge of the TON blockchain. Participation in the challenge will allow you to consolidate theory in practice, meet new people and also have financial motivation.
