If you follow my posts, you know that on my Mom's side, I trace my family line from Kyiv. Her maiden name is Ukrainian (Ivanenko), and to this day we have many relatives living in Ukraine. That's why this tragic conflict is personal both to me and Telegram.
Some people wondered if Telegram is somehow less secure for Ukrainians, because I once lived in Russia. Let me tell these people how my career in Russia ended.
Nine years ago I was the CEO of VK, which was the largest social network in Russia and Ukraine. In 2013, the Russian security agency, FSB, demanded that I provide them the private data of the Ukrainian users of VK who were protesting against a pro-Russian President.
I refused to comply with these demands, because it would have meant a betrayal of our Ukrainian users. After that, I was fired from the company I founded and was forced to leave Russia.
I lost my company and my home, but would do it again – without hesitation. I smile with pride when I read my VK post from April 2014, which shows the scanned orders from the FSB and my trademark response to them – a dog in a hoodie.
When I defied their demands, the stakes were high for me personally. I was still living in Russia, and my team and my old company were also based in that country.
Many years have passed since then. Many things changed: I no longer live in Russia, no longer have any companies or employees there. But one thing remains the same – I stand for our users no matter what. Their right to privacy is sacred. Now – more than ever.

A private military contractor in the US is seeking “highly trained” candidates to provide security services in Ukraine during Russia’s special military operation.
A job post reads that successful candidates will “conduct part-time, covert extraction/evacuation operations of individuals and families throughout the countryside.”
Ukraine’s president announced around 16,000 foreign mercenaries are expected to arrive in the country. Local media reports some have already landed.

In a recent paper from Lund University in Malmo, Sweden, Markus Alden, is the first to describe with his team of investigators reverse transcription of mRNA from the COVID-19 mRNA vaccine BNT162b2, developed by Pfizer and BioNTech. The world is scrambling to understand the findings and what they mean to the large number of unquestioning souls who have taken one of the four genetic vaccines (Pfizer/BioNTech, Moderna, Janssen, AstraZeneca).
In brief, the mRNA was introduced into a hepatic cell line, and the assembly of base pairs of DNA for a portion of the mRNA was demonstrated, and then this code was subsequently found in the nucleus.1 The liver cell line is important since the liver is where a large number of circulatory proteins are produced, such as albumin and blood clotting factors. “Congratulations and thank you to Robin Vos, Speaker of the Wisconsin State Assembly, and State Assemblywoman Janel Brandtjen, Chair of the Committee on Campaigns and Elections, for standing by highly respected Justice Michael Gableman on the incredible findings just announced on Election Fraud in the great State of Wisconsin. I feel confident that Robin will exercise his moral duty to follow up on Justice Gableman’s findings. In addition to announcing that they will stay in session and take action to get rid of ERIC and the WEC, which have done some very bad things and made review very difficult (as also noted by the Legislative Audit Bureau), based on the Gableman report, I would imagine that there can only be a Decertification of Electors. This is one of the biggest stories of our generation, even though the Fake News Media will try to play it down as much as they can.
Also, this past October the Racine County Sheriff, Christopher Schmaling, referred felony criminal charges against five of the six members of the Wisconsin Election Commission (“WEC”) for their scheme to violate Wisconsin law and allow illegal vote harvesting in nursing homes. The Sheriff stated that the governing “election statute was in fact not just broken but shattered” in all 72 counties across Wisconsin. Read the full story here.
