On Friday, March 10th, at 13:00 UTC, the GOSH development team will conduct a live stream — doubling as a veritable bonanza! — in which GOSH tokens will be distributed to all the developers who contributed to the repository code and content creation of the GOSH blockchain, as well as any other supporters of the project who made meaningful contributions to making it a reality.

And we would love to welcome all to join.

This stream will be an opportunity to see, in real time, the decentralization of the GOSH blockchain — a live launch of the GOSH DAO on the GOSH chain.

Some Governance Tokens will also be Airdropped to new members of the GOSH DAO. Anyone can become a member, and we invite everyone to participate. If you think you’ve ever contributed in any way to GOSH or would want to in the future, Request Membership here (you need to Sign in first)

We can’t wait to see you Tomorrow, March 10th, at 13:00 UTC

🌲GOSH is excited to announce the launch of AnyTree, the first software deployment system secured by a blockchain 🌲

AnyTree secures software at the source, with cryptographic signatures and Deep SBOM technology, pioneered by GOSH. This means that you can be confident that on AnyTree, whatever apps you distribute or use, are delivered exactly as they are supposed to be

AnyTree works with almost any package manager, so you can use it to deliver your apps exactly the same way you do today

GOSH has also collaborated with Ambassador Labs to assure the integrity of Docker Containers. The GOSH AnyTree Firewall for Telepresence adds an extra layer of security for Telepresence users by verifying the integrity of Docker containers as well as any changes made to them and builds Docker containers only from approved sources

AnyTree is currently available in beta on Linux, and will be coming soon to Mac and Windows. You can read more about it here

Or you can try it now: https://gosh.sh/anytree
Ambassador Labs, the cloud native developer experience leader, today announced a collaboration with GOSH, a decentralized blockchain development platform purpose-built for supply chain security and open source management. With a new integration of products, Ambassador Labs’ flagship Telepresence solution will work seamlessly with the GOSH AnyTree Firewall for Telepresence, adding an extra layer of security for Telepresence users by verifying the integrity of Docker containers as well as any changes made to them.

GOSH Launches Fast, Scalable, Free To Use Layer 2 For Ethereum

With 12 key Launch Partners presenting unique, innovative use cases

Today GOSH, a git on-chain DAO-platform, announced that it runs as Ethereum Layer 2.

GOSH is an advanced scalable asynchronous sharded blockchain that allows select partners to run smart contracts on-chain for Free, making GOSH the first and only Freemium Ethereum Layer 2 blockchain.

GOSH stores and processes git objects entirely on-chain, allowing for fully decentralized management of repositories through GOSH DAOs, which are made automatically when creating any decentralized repository. GOSH is a TVM-based blockchain using Asynchronous Solidity tailored for a sharded development environment on top of Ethereum, providing high speeds and great scalability. GOSH currently runs over 2,000 DAOs and over 56 million git object smart contracts have been deployed so far.

GOSH decentralization and security is guaranteed by Ethereum. In final production, all contract state transitions on GOSH L2 are verified by Ethereum, withdrawing funds from either blockchain is easy, and to break the system would require both Ethereum and GOSH to be corrupted or stopped simultaneously. GOSH is the only formally verified Git implementation. And because developing on GOSH means using smart contracts for every merge, commit, and pull request, GOSH is the first development platform where the more code you write the more secure it becomes.

GOSH L2 is launching with 12 Partners: GBA, Ethernity Cloud, DeVote, GEX, DeSci World, Q, deScier, WOW DAO, Pruvendo, Hero2Quest, Triscale, Viete.

GOSH is a production ready on-chain Git DAO platform that can be accessed here while GOSH L2 is a fully trustless solution, accessible with limited functionality as a Beta right within the GOSH user interface.

GOSH Partners With deScier To Become New Standard In Alternative Scientific Publishing

Building infrastructures for a new future for science on GOSH Layer 2

Today GOSH, a decentralized git on-chain DAO platform, announced a partnership with deScier, a researcher-led community that applies blockchain technology for science, with initiatives is to facilitate scientific collaboration through The DeSci Journal, a Decentralized Science Journal, to develop a new git standard for submission of research code and data within alternative scientific publications.

Nowadays, scientists have 0%, yes, zero percent, of their copyright from legacy publishing houses. Together these publishing houses generate as much revenue as the music industry, at about 26 billion US Dollars per annum. The DeSci Journal is a starting point for scholars to be in contact with a new form of publishing and financing for their scientific research.

deScier is based on a collaborative economy sharing earnings with Editors, Reviewers and other Members involved in the peer-reviewing and publication processes. GOSH’s role as git standard for the purpose of decentralized supplementary data storage in alternative publishing strengthens and cements the advancement of DeSci publications, and science more broadly.

GOSH’s version control system git on-chain allows for a seamless transition for scientists into a decentralized framework, permitting them to truly own their research.

As part of the partnership, GOSH will build a pipeline to allow editors and reviewers to coordinate working on scientific articles. GOSH as an operational layer in the peer-review process for deScier’s Journal will offer authors a platform to publish their peer-reviewed research while holding 100% of their copyright. This is the next step in GOSH’s long standing support for decentralized science through projects such as Jocelyn DAO.

GOSH Partners with DeVote to Provide Truly Anonymous Online Voting in Private and Public Elections and for DAOs on GOSH

Building tools to champion the democratic process, reflecting the needs of a new digital world

Today GOSH, a decentralized git on-chain DAO platform, announced its partnership with DeVote, a blockchain based remote voting technology pioneer, to integrate its zero knowledge proof, truly anonymous remote voting mechanism to be used by DAOs on GOSH. DeVote’s voting mechanism enables members of DAOs to remain anonymous when voting on repository decisions. And GOSH — the most scalable blockchain platform with a Freemium business model — allows DeVote to run any type of public or private elections 100% on-chain, at any scale.

GOSH offers select partners gas-free smart contract usage, opening the possibility to run large scale elections on-chain. DeVote is currently participating in the elections technology tender announced by a national elections committee of a 100 million voter country.

DeVote and GOSH both actively participate in Government Blockchain Association (GBA) efforts to connect private companies with government customers and bring to the forefront new solutions for critical public sector needs. The expansion of the use of truly anonymous voting in GOSH’s ecosystem is expected to play a critical role to encourage the adoption of zero knowledge technologies in public and private sectors around the world.

Both GOSH and DeVote are presenting the partnership at the UN’s Internet Governance Forum in Kyoto (LINK)

GOSH Partners With FLEX To Launch The GOSH Decentralized Exchange — GEX

The first gas free, fastest, fully on-chain Decentralized Limit Order Book Exchange, on GOSH, Ethereum Layer 2 blockchain

Today GOSH, a decentralized git on-chain DAO platform, announced a partnership with FLEX, a decentralized and distributed limit order book exchange, to launch the GOSH Decentralized Exchange (GEX) on the GOSH Ethereum Layer 2 blockchain. GEX offers traders unmatched performance, a familiar user experience, censorship-resistance, and a full security guarantee that make it a truly decentralized alternative to match any centralized exchange in production today.

Features and benefits of GEX include:

Gas-free trades: GEX will run as a GOSH native application, thus requiring no gas fees. Like on centralized exchanges, GEX Commissions are paid in the native currency of the trading pair.

Censorship-resistance: GEX is a software bundle that can be installed locally on a user computer, so no web server is involved. The software bundle itself can be downloaded, or compiled from, the source code available on GOSH’s decentralized Git on-chain service.

Performance: GEX runs on GOSH’s sharded, multi-threaded blockchain. Each trading pair price point in GEX is a separate set of smart contracts making it capable of parallel processing of an unprecedented number of trades.

Guaranteed Security: GEX contracts are in the process of Formal Verification by Pruvendo, a member of GOSH DAO, providing the highest level of software security available. Formal verification is the definitive final stage of any software’s security, and today is used by the space, avionics, transportation, and atomic industries, and many others. Formally Verified GEX will be fully ready for institutional adoption of any size.

GEX User Experience: GEX’s user experience is following trading industry standards with interface closely resembling that of a regular centralized exchange.
