I have been blessed with time this weekend with my sister, Linda, and her husband, Charles.

They are REAL people. With children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren.

They love Jesus Christ.

I love them.

They know me.

They love me.

They laugh at the false attacks against me. They cry about what nefarious actors have done to try to harm me through abusing my children.

Their visit lifted me up.

God sends us angels when we need them.

My sister, Linda, is an angel. She came to Macon to be with me in 1969 when our mother died.

Linda has always been an angel to me.

Always means always. Alway has. Always will.

I give ALL the praise and ALL the glory to God for our visit this weekend.

I have to rest now or Linda will chew me out in the morning before she leaves!!! Like Allie, Linda can be a stern taskmaster!!!

Good afternoon!!!

I spent the morning with my sister, Linda, and her husband, Charles, before sending them off back to Georgia with tears and hugs.

What a wonderful weekend I had with them. Just too short as time flies.

We talked about Jesus Christ over the course of the weekend and also spent some time talking about the past, the present, and the future.

Charles has been a student of the Holy Bible for many years so I was informed by our conversations.

Linda knows me and therefore, knows the good, the bad, and the ugly of my journey through life. Her words and her very presence this weekend comforted and reassured me.

God works in mysterious ways, but His timing is always perfect. From Thursday to today, I have been reminded of how much I have in my life for which to be thankful.

As Linda left, I asked her if she had any advice for her brother. She replied, “Keep doing what you are doing.”

I took Linda’s words to be her way of telling me to “press on.”

I will.
