Brinjal/Eggplant/Terung Raita (Yogurt).
To make - oven roast 4 brinjal with just a bit of oil to soften. Remove, mash using a fork or spatula. Add some sliced onion, red chillies and curry leaves. Mix together. Whisk some yogurt, add brinjal mixture and salt. Stir and tuck in.

Chinese herbal soup. Use either 1 or 2 sachets of the herbs. Depending on how strong you like the soup and amount of chicken used. Simmer the sachet with garlic and ginger (as needed) to extract broth. Add chicken and season with salt. Simmer over very very low heat till chicken is tender. Add a handful of soaked kei chi(wolf berries) and longan. Simmer just for another few minutes and off the heat
