Ginger fried fish & oyster spicy sauce.
To make:
mix 4 pcs of cleaned kembung with 1tsp ginger paste,
1 tsp corn flour,
1/2 tsp rice flour and
salt.
Deep fry,
remove and
place of a serving plate.

For the sauce -
sauté 4 sliced shallots in 1 tsp of oil.
Add oyster sauce,
dark soy sauce,
light soy sauce,
chilli sauce,
lime juice,
fish sauce,
a little palm/white sugar and
a little salt (these ingredients as per taste).
Stir, pour into a serving bowl and serve with fried fish.

Ghee curry leaf rice.
The easiest and the simplest to make.
Cook rice in rice cooker.
Once button is off, add curry leaves, ghee and a little salt.
Fluff up and tuck into the scented rice.

Aloo Saag (Indian style spinach potato).
Fry 1 sliced red onion,
1/2 inch chopped ginger,
5 chopped garlic and
1 tsp mustards seeds in 3 tbsp oil.

Add 2 sliced potatoes,
plain chilli powder (as needed) and
1 tsp turmeric powder.
Stir, pour enough water,
stir,
cover and simmer till potato is half cooked.
Remove cover,
add 1 small bunch spinach (remove roots),
season with salt, cover and continue to simmer to soften both.
Open cover, stir and remove from heat.
