Choices to #food and #eateries has mushroomed tremendously for #kotakemuningeats. Of course, being a #foodie, I am in for checking them out.

Last week, I was #goldenbrownkotakemuning for lunch. Lunch basically means opting for their #setlunchmenu. Not much choices and between them, I opted for #porkfritters. Lovely. Crispy crust and soft melt inside. Plus, you can opt for the sides. I opted for #mashpotato & #coleslaw. Both of these didn’t let me down either (17.50++). Manage to finish every bit.

Later, within the same week, alongside my other half-half. For dinner, there’s more choices of though. Other half-half tucked into #lambrack and me #germansausages set. Big portion, I packed back the balance, whereas my other half-half rated lamb rack as “okay” and for me, German Sausages added value to my palates. (RM106.00 for both).

I won’t mind returning for their set lunch again.
Egg fried luncheon meat.
Stir one egg with 1 tsp rice flour and season with salt and pepper.

Put in 5 slices of meat and keep aside for 1/2 an hour.
Fry in oil and remove.

Mutton bone marrow masala.
To make:
pressure cook 12 bones with 1 tbsp ginger paste,
1 tbsp garlic paste,
1 tsp turmeric powder and
some water.
Cool down and keep aside.

For the curry paste:
mix 1 tbsp plain chilli powder,
1 tbsp meat curry powder,
1/2 tsp fennel powder,
1 tsp cumin powder,
1/2 tbsp coriander powder and
1 tsp pepper powder with some water.

Fry paste till aromatic with spices (cinnamon, star anise, cloves and cardamom) and 2 bay leaves in 1/4 cup of oil.
Add mutton, 1 chopped tomato and salt.
Stir and simmer.
Off the heat,
combine in sliced coriander leaves and
set aside for 1 hour to soak mutton in the gravy before serving.

Note: adjust spiciness as per taste.
More water for more gravy.
After cooking, gently ladle out the oil floating on top of gravy.
