Cauliflower potato soup.
Heat 2 tbsp butter and sauté 1 tsp ginger paste, 1 tsp garlic paste and 2 bay leaves.
Add 1 sliced tomato, stir, add cauliflower florets (abt 1/4 portion) and 3 potatoes (cut into medium chunks).

Stir, pour 1/2 liter veg stock and simmer to soften both.
Season with salt and pepper and of the heat.
Combine in parsley leaves (or coriander leaves).

Chinese white pepper soup -
The convenient way to a healthy
soup.
Add spice sachet, pork or chicken, 1 sliced tomato and water in to a pot, simmer over very very low heat.
Then, you can add some soaked and sliced black fungus, some soaked red dates and kei chi/wolf-berries (these are optional). Stir, season with salt and simmer for another couple of minutes. Done.

Brunch on this particular day in “Sen Cafe” (34, Jalan Anggerik Vanilla Z 31/Z)
Ambience - corner lot, garden concept.
Not as in, in a garden, but surrounded with lotsa plants in the outside dining area.
Service - at once.
Menu - enough choices. For cakes - you gotto look at the choices at the counter & order.
Our pick -
Tom Yam Seafood Spaghetti - awesomeness.
Al dente spaghetti, in a light sauce, yet, the quintessential Thai tastes gets on to your palates (RM23.00)
Mango Mousse Cake - light crunch from one of the ingredients in the bottom layer, and silky smooth mango cheesy burst from the top layer RM15.00)
Both of these shared between both of us. Filling enough.

Drinks - sky juice (free)
All in all, a really appreciated dining experience. Nice.

Caramelised Onion Radish.
Sauté one large sliced red onion to let lightly caramelise (don’t burn though), add julienne radish and salt.

Stir, close with a lid, cook over low heat to soften.

Nasi serai dan daun kaduk/Lemongrass Betel Leaf Rice
Cook rice with a pinch of salt and fluff up while still hot. Add 1 sliced lemongrass and about 10 shredded betel leaves. Stir and serve.
