Dried Shrimp Egg Sambal
Method:
fry dried prawns till crispy, remove and keep aside.
Leave abt 3 tbsp oil in the same wok. Fry chilli paste till aromatic, pour 1/2 cup of water, add palm sugar and season with salt (if needed).
Stir, add eggs and fried prawns, stir, off heat and stir in basil leaves.

Vegetable soup.
Sauté 1 tsp ginger,
1/2 tsp garlic paste,
4 chopped shallots and bay leaves in 1 tbsp butter.

Add potatoes (2 nos, cubed),
stir and pour 1/2 liter water. Simmer, add 1/2 cubed zucchini and French beans (10 nos, sliced).
Season with vegetable stock/broth, salt and pepper.
Simmer to soften veg and remove from heat.

Rice congee (nasi bubur): ingredients (estimates):
wash 1 cup of rice,
put in rice cooker,
pour veg stock,
salt and more water if needed. Cook and garnish with ginger stripes and sliced spring onion.

Side for congee:
basil potato eggs.
Heat 3 tbsp oil,
fry 2 sliced potatoes,
add I sliced red onion,
stir,
break 3 eggs in,
season with salt and pepper, scramble,
off heat and
stir in basil leaves.
