BREAKING! WARNING! DISTURBING! Police in Burnsville shot and killed an armed carjacking suspect Sunday afternoon, police say. The shooting occurred about 3 p.m. on Minnesota 13 near the Interstate 35W overpass, where the suspect appeared to bail out of a moving car before attempting to steal another vehicle, according to footage of the incident captured by Minnesota Department of Transportation traffic cameras. The suspect, a white man in his 20s, shot at officers who returned fire and fatally wounded the him, according to a news release issued by the Burnsville Police Department. The suspect, who has not yet been identified, was taken to Hennepin County Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead. No officers were injured.
