Kulgam, May 03 (KNO): At least two unidentified persons were killed after hit by an unknown vehicle in Khudwani area along Jammu—Srinagar national highway in south Kashmir's Kulgam on Friday, officials said.

An official told news agency—Kashmir News Observer (KNO) that two persons riding on a scooty died after being hit by an unknown vehicle.

He said the bodies have been recovered by police.

"Both bodies have been shifted to hospital for medical and legal formalities while their identification is yet to be ascertained, "he said—(KNO)

*Army Vehicle Rolls Down In Verinag Anantnag; 1 Dead, 9 Injured*

Srinaga, May 4 (GNS): An armyman has died and nine other personnel injured after a vehicle they were traveling in rolled down into a gorge in Verinag area in south Kashmir's Anantnag district.

An official told GNS that the army vehicle of 19 RR, skidded off the road and plunged into a gorge at Batagund Verinag.

"So far one army man is confirmed to have died while nine others having different bodily injuries," the official said, adding, "all the injured armymen have been taken to a nearby hospital for immediate treatment."
