BREAKING: The New York prosecutor in the New York City hush money case against Donald Trump was previously hired for 'political consulting' by the Democratic National Committee.

The revelations regarding attorney Matthew Colangelo raises concerns over the perceived politicalization of the multiple cases against the former president – and specifically the first case brought by Manhattan District Attorney Alvin Bragg's office.

Colangelo, according to a Fox News Digital review of Federal Election Commission records, was paid $12,000 by the DNC on January 31, 2018. It was distributed by DNC Services Corp/Democratic National Committee in two separate payments of $6,000 on the same day.

The description listed by the FEC for the purpose of the payment to the attorney is labeled 'Political Consulting.'

While a common sense approach posits that one of the two men vying for the top office in the land publicly commenting on the most seismic story (according to normieville) regarding said race is to be expected, Trump's continued escalatory behavior is likely a continuation of the baiting strategy that has come to define many of his narrative deployments.

On an Actual level, these cases are no doubt setting exactly the sort of precedent Trump wants to be codified for the (real) Witch Hunts to come. He's now telling us this directly where it concerns Biden and others.

ICYMI, I served 78 days in federal prison for J6 misdemeanors. I am 56 and have no criminal record. The prison I was in four months ago, FCI Dublin, was just shut down due to staff corruption and unsafe conditions. It now sits empty.

I'm feeling reflective, so I wanted to share a story:

The prison phones were disabled each night. They turned back on at 6AM.

Every morning at 5:50AM, my first cell mate's alarm would awaken me. At exactly 6AM, she was on the phone calling her ill mom in WV. Her mom is her best friend. They shared their lives with each other the best they could under the circumstances. She never missed a day.

Our cell was near the phone, so like it or not, I overheard their conversations every morning - their laughter, their arguments, their stories, their tears, all of it. It was real and raw and beautiful.

I couldn't help but hear so many inmates' "private" conversations because my cell was near the phone. I was there for Thanksgiving, Christmas and New Years. So many raw moments.

I used to say things about inmates like, "They earned this" (not knowing what "this" was), and "If you can't do the time, don't do the crime."

I didn't understand that by saying and believing these things so unquestioningly, I was viewing inmates as "others." I didn't see them as individuals with lives and relationships, dreams and fears, hopes and regrets. I didn't realize I was further dehumanizing them by "othering" them. Then I was one of them. And for the first time in my life, I truly saw them.

I hope that this post can maybe help you see them, too.

Trump Media hires new auditor after previous accounting firm charged with 'massive fraud'

Truth Social owner Trump Media hired a new auditor over the weekend after its previous public accounting firm was accused of perpetrating a massive fraud by the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, according to a regulatory filing Monday.

As part of its settlement with the regulator, BF Borgers and its owner Benjamin Borgers agreed to a permanent ban from auditing public companies, and to pay $14 million in fines.

The ban required Trump Media and other public companies that had used BF Borgers to find new auditors.

In a subsequent filing Monday, Trump Media said Semple, Marchal & Cooper was selected "after a detailed evaluation process."
