#bftp9am - EVOLUTION OF THE PASSES

πŸ“· Collected my accreditation pass yesterday (as shown) and a look at this season's pass instantly brought me back to the day when I received my first one many years back.

⏳ Over the years, we have seen the evolution of the passes in terms of colours and sizes, but its function is not merely to provide access to matches for working purposes, these passes are witnesses of history as well.

πŸ“ Blogged in 2020, while sharing details of the evolution, I included some photos of those old accreditation passes as well.

THOSE "GREEN PASSES"

🟒 In the past, the media accreditation passes to the S.League matches were largely green in colour, hence it was commonly called the "green passes".

🎴 One of the advantages of these "green passes" was they were business card size that fits nicely in most wallets.

🧐 Probably the need to be visible from a distance away that in recent years, the size of the accreditation passes multipled.

YOU SEEN IMPROVEMENT?

❓ Do you agree there is more vibrancy in branding exercise with the current AIA Singapore Premier League clubs, as compared to the past?

🌈 At least this time round, we seen more colours and dynamism injected than having those static, template feel in the past.

πŸ’¬ The first placard was my quotes to TODAY and some pictures from an old blog post in 2017 on my thoughts back then on the marketing strategy.

#bftp9am - HUFC'S 2016 MEET-AND-GREET

πŸ‰ It is most unfortunate not to see Singapore Premier League clubs hosting events like meet-and-greet like Home United did in 2016 due to Covid situation.

πŸ‘ In my opinion, the mentioned 2016 event by the Protectors was a success, as it was well-attended with fans queuing up for photo opportunities and signing of autographs by the players, as seen in the attached photos.

NECESSARY LOAN MOVE ...

πŸ”„ It is not uncommon to see how loan arrangements like this Karan Sobti's move to Tanjong Pagar United to allow some Lion City Sailors' players to gain some play time with other Singapore Premier League clubs.

⚽ After all, it is important to allow young players to gain some competitive experiences, and where else if there are opportunities available?
