As you already know, he had to postpone his upcoming tour due to health issues. ney :(

People like moving pictures. FB knows this and pushes videos everywhere. Videos get twice more engagement on Instagram than other types of posts. You probably noticed this yourself when you see the analytics.

For sure I see it with my posts. All my motion/animation clips have more views, likes etc. Even a simple animated logo that zooms in or out has more likes than my complex hand-drawn illustration.

Actually, what got me into animation was not only traditional stuff like Akira or Fantasia but also Monty Python, Terry Gilliam and his stop motion stuff. He’s a mega beast. If you’ve seen my stuff, there’s a clear Terry influence.

Metal cheese.

I’m researching low budget music videos these days. I put aside videos that might be used later as a reference. With pop, hip-hop and indie it’s quite easy to find good examples.

With rock, metal etc. genres it’s a bit problematic. It looks like the “serious tone/style” of the music (or other reason) kinda limits the low budget thing. It’s either cheesiness or self-irony.
