⚽ The 8-men Lions crashed out of AFF Suzuki Cup after losing 5-3 on aggregate to Indonesia in the semis with the much of talking point surrounding the controversial handling by the referee.

I don't blame the PK miss by Faris, it's too pressurising that no one can withstand that kind of pressure, even Roberto Baggio missed it in the 1994 World Cup final.

It would be heavy price to pay for to be in the final when several key players are not available.

I only hope the Lions can build something out from this bitterness, it's not often they won applause from the Singaporeans.
