Promo idea for facebook.

Sometimes when you browse fb, you see some people have some light sabres or whatever on their profile pic.

Turns out, you can make you own and upload it to fb for everyone to use. It's called A Frame and you can make it in a Frame Studio (link below).

So if you have a gig coming up, you can tell people to put a badge on your fb profile pic and it can be temporary (there's an option).

I'll make my own a bit later, when I decide on the design and let you know.

The largest youtube channel for stoner and doom rock is going down. The dude got himself in trouble. Apparently, there was some hate speech involved and the public is not digging it. A mass unsubscribe, taking down of the videos, etc. You can see the drop in the photo below. And I don't think it's gonna end well, especially how the dude is reacting.

Do gig posters still work?

There are lots of gigs and events going on. Same with promos. But they all look kinda the same, especially online.

I immediately pay more attention to the events with cool posters. If I see that a band or venue care that much about their presentation, I think they are that serious and probably the gig is worth checking out.

A gig poster has a date and a place, which makes it a nice memo for fans. It’s also cool for musicians, cos a gig poster tells the band’s story long after the event.

When I design a poster I always check how the greats do/did their stuff. I’ve attached some of my fav poster artists. My spiritual dudes. I call them “Mega Beasts”.

Ozzy Osbournes latest album “Ordinary Man” has been released today. Yey! :)
As you already know, he had to postpone his upcoming tour due to health issues. ney :(
I wish Ozzy a speedy recovery and hope he’s on stage soon.

It was one of the live gigs that I attended and mega enjoyed.
People wanted to see Moby so much that they jumped over the VIP fence rushed to the stage as soon as the gates opened. I was one of them.

With Bodyrock (Fire version) I discovered that you can direct a mv in "that" way.
